St. Jude Concert 4 Kids will take place on June 13 at the downtown Springfield venue.
Staind lead singer Aaron Lewis, who is enjoying success as a solo country act, will take part in the St. Jude Concert 4 Kids at the MassMutual Center in Springfield on June 13.
The benefit concert is Lewis' first appearance at the downtown Springfield venue since Staind performed there on Jan. 16, 2000.
Unlike that 2000 show by the Springfield rockers, this will be an acoustic gig for Lewis. Headlining the concert is Craig Morgan. Other country acts include The Farm and Jana Kramer.
Lewis recently signed with Blaster Records, distributed by Warner Music Nashville. He will release a full-length country album this summer. He received rave reviews for his inaugural country music project, “Town Line,” a solo EP that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart last year. His latest single is "Endless Summer."
Tickets are priced at $27 and $37 with $102 VIP tickets also available. The VIP tickets include a meet and greet with Morgan. Tickets are now available at Ticketmaster locations, by phone at (800) 745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com
The St. Jude Concert 4 Kids concert is sponsored by WRNX-FM, Kix Country 100.9. All proceeds go toward cancer research and treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
