In a turn from their usual programming the NatGeo channel is instead sending a team out to circle the globe chasing UFOs.
‘Chasing UFOs’ will air on Friday, June 29, 2012 with the first and second episodes being shown back-to-back at 9 and 10PM from the series which will include eight-episodes in all. The team doing the chasing includes former ‘Destination Truth’ team member Erin Ryder, along with fellow investigators, Ben McGee, and James Fox.
As the trailer below shows, the team will take to ‘town-hall meetings’ when investigating sightings, much in the same way that another new series, ‘Finding Bigfoot’ from the Animal Planet channel, has done.
The NatGeo website lists several high profile unexplained UFO sightings and cases that will be investigated by the team including Roswell, Central Texas and Florida. If the team is able to bring any more answers to the several cases that are, in fact, older than they are, remains to be seen but it should make for good entertainment as we watch them try.
