A reminder that the Kix 100.9 FM “Concert for Kids” to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital takes place on Wednesday, June 13 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. The event features performances by Craig Morgan, Aaron Lewis, The Farm, and Jana Kramer. Ticket information is available through mykix1009.com
Neil Young and Crazy Horse hit the road this fall for their first tour in eight years. The tour includes a Nov. 26 stop at the TD Garden in Boston and a Dec. 4 visit to Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn. Ticket details have not yet been released.
Country singer Billy Currington has been added to the Big E lineup for the fall. Currington headlines the Comcast Arena stage on Sept. 28. The Iron Horse Music Hall has announced two shows featuring some of the Northampton venue’s favorite singer-songwriters in Paula Cole (Aug. 10) and Kasey Chambers (Aug. 12). Tickets are $32.50 for Cole and $35 for Chambers and on sale now through the Northampton Box Office at (413)586-8686 and online at iheg.com
The Iron Horse has also listed new dates with Freshlyground (Aug. 29), Policia (Oct. 4), and Electric Six (Oct. 24). Tickets for all shows are available at through the Northampton Box Office.
Pearl Street Nightclub offers two new Clubroom performances including MC Chris on July 14 and Hope Lies Within on Aug. 18. Tickets for both shows are on sale through the Northampton Box Office.

The Steve Miller Band will bring its 2012 tour to the stage at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino with special guest George Thorogood on Aug. 3 at 8 p.m. Tickets priced at $45, $55 and $65 are on sale now through foxwoods.com
Along with Jane’s Addiction at Foxwoods, there are other 1990s rock bands finding new audiences at the area casinos. Tonic (June 24), Fuel (June 29) and Live’s Ed Kowalcyzk (July 19) all play free shows at Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den.
The Kingston Trio will perform two shows at Infinity Hall in Norfolk, Conn., on Oct. 28. Tickets for both the 3 p.m. matinee and the 7 p.m. performance are priced between $60 and $40 and go on sale Thursday through infinityhall.com
