Comedienne Paula Poundstone will perform at the Infinity Hall in Norfolk, Conn., on April 6. Tickets are on sale Thursday through infinityhall.com.
The New England Doo Wop Society presents an “oldies” show at the Cedars Banquet Hall in Springfield on Oct. 27 at 7:15 p.m. The concerts features performances by Greenfield’s Shakin’ All Over, New York City quintet Lisa and The Lovetones, and a headlining set by Solitaires. George Strait has announced a farewell tour that comes to the XL Center in Hartford on Feb. 23. Tickets for the “Cowboy Rides Away” tour will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets are available through all Ticketmaster outlets and locations including ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000. Tickets are priced at $89.50 and $69.50.
Ray Mason will play at the Thirsty Mind at the Village Commons in South Hadley on Saturday. There is no cover for the show which begins at 7 p.m.
