'Dancing With the Stars' week 4 recap: Gilles Marini and Shawn Johnson earn near-perfect scores

Former "Cheers" star Kirstie Alley and reality TV personality Bristol Palin failed to wow judges on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars." However, they have demonstrated before that loyal fans can save a contestant from elimination.

A combination of judges' scores' and viewer votes will determine which contestant will be sent home on Tuesday night.

Both women received kind words from judges, but their performances paled next to their rivals.

Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and actor Gilles Marini received near-perfect scores and tied for first place.

With guest judge Paula Abdul on hand, judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli scores contestants on a scale of zero to 40.

Here is a rundown of performances and judges' scores:

"Cheers" actress Kirstie Alley – charleston, 30

Reality TV personality Bristol Palin –rock'n'roll, 32

Former Cheetah Girls singer Sabrina Bryan – disco, 35.5

Former NFL running back Emmitt Smith – bolero, 36

French actor Gilles Marini – Bollywood, 39.5

Reality TV personality Melissa Rycroft – jitterbug, 37

Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson – mambo, 39.5

Olympic speed skater Apolo Ohno – hip hop, 34.5

"General Hospital" actress Kelly Monaco – contemporary, 37.5

So far, four celebrities have been sent home: "Baywatch" beauty Pamela Anderson and former 'N Sync singer Joey Fatone former 98 Degrees singer Drew Lachey, and race car driver Helio Castroneves.
