The singer was eliminated during last night's "knockout rounds" of the competition.
Sunderland's Michelle Brooks-Thompson lost during the "knockout rounds" on Monday night's episode of NBC's "The Voice."
The 28-year-old Easthampton bank employee sang her rendition of Jennifer Hudson's "Spotlight," but was beat in a head-to-head competition round by contestant Amanda Brown.
Adam Levine, who coached Brooks-Thompson and Brown, stated that he picked Brown as the winner because he thought he could coach her better.
Brooks-Thompson is already a veteran singer, previously winning singing competitions such as "Sing Your Way to Fenway."
