The Tip-Off Tournament is coming...don't miss out!

Each November the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame hosts the Tip-Off Tournament, an NCAA exempt Division I men’s basketball tournament sponsored by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). This year’s Tip-Off Tournament will be held at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT November 16-18, and tickets are available by clicking here. Here are 5 Great things about this year’s event…

1. Top teams are on hand, including Loyola University Maryland, Norfolk State University, Ohio State University, Seton Hall University, University of Albany, University of Missouri-Kansas City, University of Rhode Island and University of Washington.

2. Ohio State University is the pre-season #4 ranked team in the country, and Rhode Island has a new head coach, Danny Hurley, who is the son of Hall of Fame Coach Bob Hurley.

3. Ticket prices range from $17.55 (for spots on the upper or lower level) to $142.35 for courtside, so there are options for different budgets. PLUS…each ticket is good for all 4 games throughout the day. Divided out, that’s as low as $4.39 per game! Call (413) 231-5540 for information about discounted group ticket prices as well.

4. The Tip-Off Business Luncheon takes place on Friday, November 16 at noon at the XL Center in Hartford, CT. This is the annual signature event that kicks off the weekend of incredibly college basketball action and is attended by key business executives as well as celebrities, Hall of Famers and representatives from the participating 2012 Tip–Off Teams. 5. Each ticket sold benefits the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization. The Hall is one of the Pioneer Valley’s most valuable tourism sites.
