Green Day
Make up dates for the postponed Green Day tour have been announced and the band will now be making its previously scheduled stop at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn., on April 6. Originally scheduled for Jan. 10, the date – along with the entire tour – was postponed while lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong remained in treatment for substance abuse. Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored.
Country star Scotty McCreery, who recently headlined a show at the MassMutual Center, will appear at the Toyota Presents the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Conn. on April 19. Tickets are available through livenation.com
The Bacon Brothers, featuring actor Kevin Bacon, will appear at the Infinity Hall in Norfolk, Conn., on March 26. Tickets are on sale beginning Jan.3 through infinityhall.com. Singer-songwriter Paul Thorn comes to Infinity Hall on March 21. Tickets are also available beginning Jan. 3.
Comedian Bill Engvall performs at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn., on April 27. Tickets are on sale beginning Jan. 11 through foxwoods.com or by calling (866) 646-0609. Tickets are priced between $60 and $35.
Blues star Albert Cummings headlines a free show at the Wolf Den in Mohegan Sun on Jan. 12. The performance begins at 8 p.m. Seating for Wolf Den shows is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Other upcoming shows at the Den include Blue Oyster Cult (Jan. 14), Lita Ford (Jan, 26), and the Gin Blossoms (Feb. 1).
