AGAWAM – Those who have grumbled about the cost of dining at amusement parks might find Six Flags New England's new offering easy to swallow.

Beginning this spring, Six Flags will offer a season dining pass, which entitles the bearer to eat one lunch and one dinner per visit to the Agawam park. The pass is added to a guest's Season Pass and can be purchased online for $69.99.

A typical meal at the park costs about $10.

The dining pass was tested at other Six Flag parks last year and it was very successful, according to Melissa Pinkerton, public relations manager for Six Flags New England.

"It's something our guests have been asking for," she added.

Eleven different dining locations will offer a variety of food options from salads, to boneless buffalo chicken wings, burgers, chicken tenders, grilled chicken wraps, hot dogs, chicken burrito bowls, pizza and pasta.

Guests can utilize the program from April 13 through Sept. 15. For an additional $5, guests can extend the dining pass through Fright Fest.
