"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" was the first installment in director Peter Jackson's "Hobbit' trilogy.
Warner Home Video announced today it will issue "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" on DVD and Blu-ray on March 19.
"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" raked in $950 million worldwide at the box office.
The home video edition will contain 110 minutes of bonus material. The Blu-ray combo pack will be priced at $35,99 and the 2-DVD set at $29.98. A 3D Blu-ray set will carry a suggested list price of $44.95.
"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" was the first installment in director Peter Jackson's "Hobbit' trilogy. The second chapter, "The Desolation of Smaug," will arrive in theaters on Dec. 13. The trilogy concludes with "There and Back Again" in July 2014.
