Kasik will perform classical favorites on the church's acclaimed 1896 model C Steinway piano.
WEST SPRINGFIELD - The First Congregational Church of West Springfield will host a performance by pianist Martin Kasik on Saturday .
Kasik will perform classical favorites on the church's acclaimed 1896 model C Steinway piano. This will be Kasik's fourth appearance since 2008.
He will play works by Frederic Chopin, Franz Liszt, George Gershwin and Modest Mussorgsky.
For Gershwin's "Cuban Overture," he will be joined at the keyboard by pianist Paul Bisaccia for some four-hands artistry.
The concert will take place in the church sanctuary. Audience members will be admitted after 7 p.m. The program will start at 7:30 and end by 9:30. An artists' reception will be held. Thanks to financial support from the West Springfield Arts Council and businesses, the concert is free.
