When Mr. Schuester is away the glee kids will play. This week’s “Glee” had Blaine and Sam taking over Glee club while Mr. Schuester was out with the flu, having the club sing songs representing their guilty pleasures.

The episode did not carry a lot of important plot points (unless your name is Rachel Berry) but it was an hour of fun music that we all love but may not like to admit.

Here’s what you missed on "Glee."

Rachel discovers Brody’s dirty little secret:
When we first get a glimpse of the HummelBerry apartment in New York City, Santana is back in the building. She has returned after Brody promptly moved out (Rachel still has no idea why). Santana has told Kurt about Brody’s side job as a prostitute, but he told her not to tell Rachel until after her upcoming audition for “Funny Girl”.

Santana being Santana though, breaks at one point and tell Rachel all about Brody’s escapades. Rachel confronts Brody about being lied to throughout their relationship and tries to offer him money. Brody fights back telling her that she lied to him to, saying that she is still in love with Finn and telling her that Finn is the one that gave him the black eye he is sporting. Rachel seems flattered by the fact that Finn came to her aide, and agrees that she did use Brody as a rebound of sorts. They agree to break-up (in a much more amicable way than expected) and leave each other by signing Radiohead’s “Creep”.

Sam finds out Blaine’s dirty little secret:
Blaine is still crushing on Sam (I thought that storyline was over too but apparently not) and is trying to use guilty pleasures week to show it. When Sam pulls Blaine aside to tell him about his guilty pleasure, Blaine says, “do you have feelings for me” and when Sam looks confused Blaine laughs it off saying he was joking.

Later, Blaine sings an absolutely amazing rendition of Phil Collins’ “Against All Odds” (live on set, no lip synching here) and keeps looking at Sam throughout the number. Tina asks him who the song was for and Blaine stumbles over his words before spitting out that it was for Kurt. He then says that Phil Collins is one of his guilty pleasures to hide the deeper meaning behind his song.

Sam eventually catches on to what is going on with Blaine and Blaine admits his feelings for Sam. Sam is not freaked out by it, he says he is flattered by it and tells Blaine that it changes nothing between them.

In one of the best moments of the episodes Blaine and Sam hug it out, Blaine not wanting to let go. After hugging for an awkward amount of time, Sam looks uncomfortable and says to Blaine, “Dude, please tell me those are Lifesavers in your pocket.” What could have been an extremely awkward moment turns hilarious when Blaine says, “Oh yeah no, they're breathmints, you want one?” and he proceeds to hand Sam a mint.

All the other guilty pleasures…

All the girls: The Spice Girls, they all performed a nostalgic version of “Wannabe”.

Brittany and Kitty:
All the movies in the “Bring It On” series (except for the last one)

Blaine: Aside from Sam and Phil Collins, Blaine begins the episode by revealing his love for WHAM! Complete with a performance of “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go”.

Sam: Macaroni art and Barry Manilow. He performs “Copacabana” and proclaims himself a ‘fanilow’.

Jake: Originally he chooses Chris Brown, but is quickly shot down by all the girls who find Chris Brown to be too controversial (I’m curious to see the backlash from this scene) he ends up singing “My Prerogative” by Bobby Brown (and is soon informed that wasn't a much better choice).

Kurt: After an assignment for acting class where he had to reveal his ‘secret shame’ we find out Kurt has a secret love of Richard Simmons jazzercise videos. He also has another secret in the form of his boyfriend pillow which he keeps hidden from Santana and Rachel, but when they find it they learn to embrace boyfriend pillows of their own.

Everyone: Abba and “Mamma Mia”. The New York friends turn to “Mamma Mia” for movie night claiming it to be the ‘ultimate movie musical guilty pleasure’ while the glee kids turn to the song to show their love for the 70’s Swedish band.

"Glee" will be off the next two weeks, but when it returns in three weeks the "Glee" kids are prepping for regionals, Rachel is getting ready for her “Funny Girl” audition, and Finn is making a “Harlem Shake” video? We will have to tune in to find out.
