In the magazine interview, the 40-year-old singer talked about his love of deer hunting.
Aaron Lewis – lead singer for Springfield rockers Staind and a solo country act in his own right – is profiled in the April issue of American Rifleman magazine.
The magazine is a publication of the National Rifle Association, which recently named the Longmeadow High School graduate its NRA Country Artist of the Month.
In the magazine interview, Lewis, 40, of Worthington talked about concert tours and his love of deer hunting. "I try to route the tour around the hunting seasons," he said.
It is not the first time the singer-songwriter has been profiled in a hunting and fishing publication.
In a June 2011 interview with Outdoor Life, he recalled his lifelong love of hunting, which he dated back to the age of 4 or 5, and his preference for compound or recurve bow deer hunting.
