NESN has picked a University of Massachusetts graduate to replace Heidi Watney.

Jenny Dell has been picked by NESN to to replace popular reporter Heidi Watney, who left in November to cover the Los Angeles Lakers, as the field reporter during Boston Red Sox game broadcasts.
The University of Massachusetts graduate and ESPN veteran has covered professional baseball, basketball football and auto racing. The Connecticut native has reported from the last two Super Bowls.
According to NESN, Dell also has experience behind the camera, working since 2008 at several different high profile events and programs for ESPN, including Major League Baseball, Monday Night Football, National Basketball Association and NASCAR coverage.
