SOUTH HADLEY – The public library will host a reception for individuals and organizations that earned grants from the South Hadley Cultural Council this year.
The library reception is scheduled for Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., is free. The public is encouraged to attend.
The South Hadley council awarded $6,910 to the 23 successful applications.
The professional chamber choir Novi Cantori is among the organizations the South Hadley council funded.
The chorus will perform on Sunday at All Saint's Church in South Hadley.
Other upcoming events include: a Cinco de Mayo Celebration for South Hadley High School students on May 5; Singers of United Lands for the Plains School on May 31; the 2013 Mass.Walking Tour Concert organized by Mark Mandeville on June 13; the Children's Summer Concert Series at Buttery Brook Park on July 10, 17 and 24.
