The five-minute sell-out is the fastest for a concert in Fenway history.

If you are thinking of buying tickets to see Paul McCartney at Fenway Park in Boston, you will have to turn to the scalpers.

All tickets for McCartney's July 9 show at Boston's Fenway sold out within five minutes of going on sale this morning at 10 a.m.

The five-minute sell-out is the fastest for a concert in Fenway history.

"The record-breaking response to Paul's performances four years ago at Fenway Park made it clear that the fans here would welcome him back anytime," said Live Nation's Dave Marsden in a statement. "Today, yet another new sales record reaffirms just how much Boston and all of New England love Paul McCartney!"

This is the 70-year-old former Beatle's second Fenway attendance record, the first being when his August 5 -6, 2009 shows drew the highest ever two-day concert attendance in the history of the storied ballpark.

McCartney's all-new "Out There" tour will see the rock legend and his band travel the world throughout the year.

Further announcements and dates will be added in the coming weeks at www.paulmccartney.com

In addition to McCartney, Fenway has lined up country stars Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert for shows on July 12-13, and Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake on Aug. 10-11.
