LA Coroner: 'Soul Train' founder, Don Cornelius, dead of gunshot wound

Don Cornelius was found dead this morning of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The LA Coroner has reported to the Associated Press that 'Soul Train' founder, Don Cornelius, was found dead this morning of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound. Cornelius was 75.

According to biography.com: With his deep voice and distinguished good looks, Cornelius was the ideal host. Over the years, he presented many famous performers to his television audience, including Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Lou Rawls, and Aretha Franklin among others.
