Kid Rock brings his “Best Night Ever” tour to the Comcast Theatre in Hartford on July 12. For the tour, Kid Rock is pushing a single $20 ticket price for all seats and is reserving rows up front to provide select fans with a random seat upgrade. Longtime sidekick Uncle Kracker opens the show. Tickets for the event go on sale beginning Friday at 10 a.m. through livenation.com
The “America’s Most Wanted” tour featuring Lil Wayne, comes to the Comcast Theatre on July 31. Tickets are on sale beginning Friday at 10 a.m. thought livenation.com. Tickets are priced at $99.75 and $29.75.
Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform at the MGM Grand Theater at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods on July 28. Tickets are on sale beginning Saturday at 10 a.m. through foxwoods.com and by calling (866) 646-0609. Tickets are priced between $65 and $35.
City and Colour, the stage name for Canadian songwriter Dallas Greene, performs at the Calvin Theatre on Sept. 13. Tickets are available through the Northampton Box Office at (413) 586-8686 and online at iheg.com. Tickets are priced at $35 and $30.
Ryan Cabrera, Jason Castro, and Deleasa are touring together and will come to the Iron Horse in Northampton in June 14. Tickets are $15 in advance and available through the Northampton Box Office and online at iheg.com.
Fred Eaglesmith’s “Traveling Steam Show” comes to the Iron Horse on Oct. 18. Tickets are $25 in advance and available through the Northampton Box Office and iheg.com
The Iron Horse has also booked shows with Beth Orton (July 29), Holly Williams (Aug. 9), and Dom Flemons of the Carolina Chocolate Drops (Oct. 31).
Songwriter Amy Correia is visiting Bay Path College this week serving as a Visiting Artist which involved poetry and songwriting seminars and a few open jam sessions. Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead will perform at The Palace in Stafford Springs, Conn., on May 17. Hart performs with his band along with special guests the African Showboyz from Ghana, a band of four brothers who play West African rhythm and dance music.
