Let's take a look at the thirty second preview clip for this week's episode, "For Immediate Release."
Here's hoping something substantial happens between Don and Megan (Hamm and Pare) this week. I wasn't too thrilled with last week's episode of Mad Men, so the preview clip that I'm examining tonight hopefully promises something more substantial when this Sunday rolls around. Let's take a look at the thirty second preview clip for this week's episode, "For Immediate Release."
A lot of this preview centers around Don (Jon Hamm), and Roger (John Slattery), and it seems like Megan's (Jessica Paré) parents may finally be on the outs, as Don makes a comment about someone staying with them, and we see Roger both stressed about something, and later in bed. We got the start of Roger's relationship with Megan's mother last season, and I wouldn't be surprised if it came back into play this season. The real value to this story returning would be in how the writers can relate this back to Don, if he does, indeed, find out about it.
Pete (Vincent Kartheiser) shows up quite a bit in this preview, as well, though it's harder to discern what he might be up to in the next episode. We see him meeting with Bert (Robert Morse), Joan (Christina Hendricks), and someone else who seems to want something, quite possibly the Jaguar man again. Later on, Bert is chastising someone (probably Pete), and we see Pete drinking even later in the preview. Seems like it'll be a pretty rough week for Pete.
Rounding out the preview clip are Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) and Ted (Kevin Rahm). It looks like Peggy might have an issue with someone, presumably at work, and Ted doesn't seem too pleased that he might have to deal with it.
