Tickets for several summer shows are on sale this week.
The Boston Strong concert to benefit victims of the Marathon bombing will take place at the TD Garden on May 30 and feature some of the most prominent names from the Boston entertainment family including Aerosmith, the J Geils Band, Dane Cook and Steven Wright, Extreme, Godsmack, New Kids on the Block, and James Taylor. Performances are also expected from Carole King, Jason Aldean and Jimmy Buffett. Tickets are on sale now through all Ticketmaster outlets and locations including Ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000. Donation amounts range from $35 to $285.
Speaking of Boston bands, The Dropkick Murphys will make a rare Western Massachusetts appearance when they headline Mountain Park in Holyoke on Aug. 16. Tickets are $31 and on sale beginning Friday through the Northampton Box Office at (413) 586-8686 or online at iheg.com
On that same evening, Todd Rundgren will be visiting the Calvin Theatre in Northampton for a performance of four decades of hits. Tickets for the show are also available online and through the Northampton Box Office beginning Friday. Tickets are priced at $45, $35, and $25.
Comedian and “America’s Got Talent” finalist Tom Cotter performs at the Calvin Theatrer on Oct. 5. Tickets are $30, $25, and $20 and go on sale Friday through iheg.com
After his CD “To Be Loved” debuted at Number One on the Billboard charts, Michael Buble announced a 40-city tour that includes a stop at the XL Center in Hartford on Sept. 25. He will also play Boston’s TD Garden on Sept. 27. Tickets will be sold through michaelbuble.com.
The Gigantour featuring Megadeth comes to Mohegan Sun Arena on July 5. Tickets are on sale beginning Friday at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets and locations. Tickets are priced at $35.
Aaron Neville will kick off the summer performance schedule at MassMoCA in North Adams. Neville will perform on May 25 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $74, $49, $40, and $34. Tickets are available through the MassMoCA Box Office located off Marshall Street in North Adams. Tickets can also be charged by phone by calling (413) 662-2111 ext. 1 during Box Office hours, or purchased online at www.massmoca.org
The “Happy Together” tour comes to the Hanover Theater for the Performing Arts in Worcester on June 25. The tour features Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, and The Turtles featuring Flo and Eddie. Tickets are available through thehanovertheatre.org
