Mohegan Sun Massachusetts partners with Hanover Theatre on Worcester oldies concert

The proponents of the Palmer casino said they look forward to additional opportunities with the Hanover Theatre in the months ahead.

Mohegan Sun Massachusetts is partnering with the Hanover Theatre to co-promote the upcoming Happy Together Tour, which will visit the Worcester venue on June 25.

The tour features Flo & Eddie of the Turtles; Chuck Negron, formerly of Three Dog Night; Gary Puckett & The Union Gap; Mark Lindsay, former lead singer of Paul Revere & The Raiders; and Gary Lewis & The Playboys.

The Mohegan Sun has proposed a $800 million resort casino on a 151-site off Route 31 in Palmer.

“We’re pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for this show at the renowned Hanover Theatre in Worcester,” said Mitchell Etess, chief executive officer of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority. “Mohegan Sun has a long and successful track record of partnering with cultural institutions and other businesses and organizations in the regions where we operate. We’re pleased to be working with The Hanover Theatre on the Happy Together Tour and look forward to additional opportunities in the months ahead.”

Troy Siebels, the Hanover's executive director, added. "It will be a great night, and we’re grateful to Mohegan Sun for bringing it to Worcester.”
