Mavis Staples will perform at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton

The Old School Hip Hop Jam features artists like DMX, Naughty By Nature, and Biz Markie and comes to the MGM Grand Theater at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods on June 13. Tickets are on sale beginning Friday, through Ticketmaster outlets and locations including ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000. A previously announced June 14 date is closed to selling out, prompting the additional performance. Tickets are $75 and $55.
With boy bands back in vogue this summer, witnessed by New Kids on The Block playing three nights at Mohegan Sun at the end of the month, the Backstreet Boys will bring their show on the road and perform at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston on Aug. 12. Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.
Hot Chelle Rae will perform at Six Flags New England with Carly Rae Jepsen and Kat Graham on June 2 as part of Connecticut radio station KISS 95.7 FM’s Summer Kick Off. The concert is free with park admission. Tickets are available through sixflags.com/newengland
The Tubes featuring Fee Waybill will perform at Infinity Hall in Norfolk, Conn., on Nov. 2. Tickets are on sale through infinityhall.com beginning May 23. Tickets are also on sale that day for an Aug. 2 performance from Paul Barerre and Fred Tackett of Little Feat.
Don Felder of Eagles fame will bring his signature double-neck guitar and the sound that influenced hits like “Hotel California” and “Life in the Fast Lane,” to the Eastern States Exposition during the Big E on Sept. 14. Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through thebige.com
Springfield-based All That Remains will be part of the Monster Energy Rock Allegiance tour that comes to the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA on Sept. 27. Tickets are $42.50 and $32.50 and on sale now through massconcerts.com. The tour features Volbeat, HIM, and Airbourne.
Matthew and Gunnar Nelson honor the musical legacy of their father with “Ricky Nelson Remembered” which arrives at the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester on Aug. 2. Tickets are available through thehanovertheatre.org
Dwight Yoakum will open the summer concert series at Indian Ranch in Webster on June 23. Tickets for the afternoon concert (begins at 2 p.m.) are $59.50, $54.50, and $47.
