Upcoming concert news: Toby Keith, Celtic Woman, Moody Blues and more

Tickets are on sale for several new area shows this week.

Celtic Woman bring the “Believe” tour to the Toyota Presents the Oakdale Theater on March 17. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster locations and outlets including ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000. Tickets are $77 and $47.

Furthur, the Bob Weir / Phil Lesh rock outfit that recently played the Mullins Center, will set up at the Oakdale on April 7. Tickets, priced at $59.50 and $49.50, go on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

The Moody Blues are at the Oakdale on April 20. Tickets went on sale this week through Ticketmaster and are priced at $55 and $35. The band also plays Mohegan Sun on April 12 with tickets going on sale earlier in the week.

Country star Toby Keith will venture out on the “Locked and Loaded” tour with Rodney Atkins and end up at Mohegan Sun Arena on Feb. 3. Tickets are on sale Friday Dec. 16 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and priced at $85 and $65.

Coldplay’s summer touring itinerary eschews the outdoor concert sheds for arenas. Currently the lone New England date is and July 29 appearance at the TD Garden in Boston. Tickets go on sale Saturday, Dec. 17 through Ticketmaster.

JD Souther, one of the primary architects of the Southern California rock sound, plays the Iron Horse on Jan. 14. Tickets are $22.50 in advance and available through the Northampton Box Office at (413) 586-8686 and online at iheg.com

Dia Frampton, runner-up on the hit show “The Voice,” will play Pearl Street’s Clubroom on Feb. 7. Tickets are $15 in advance and available through the Northampton Box Office.

Rickey Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder will play Infinity Hall in Norfolk, CT on Feb. 3. Tickets are on sale Thursday, Dec. 15 through infinityhall.com and priced at $75 and $55.

Tower of Power will play two shows at Infinity Hall on May 31 (6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.) offering 75 minute sets for each. Tickets are on sale beginning Thursday, Dec. 15 through infinityhall.com

The Holiday Legends Show, hosted by Jimmy Mazz, will debut at the Hu Ke Lau on Sunday, Dec. 18. The performance features tributes to Cher, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis. Tickets are available by calling (413) 592-5333. Proceeds benefit the Pioneer Valley USO.
