No illegal drugs were found in the Beverly Hills hotel room where Whitney Houston died and it's possible the 48-year-old singer drowned in the bathtub, the celebrity website TMZ is reporting citing unnamed Beverly Hills police officers as its sources.
Houston was discovered by her bodyguard in the bathtub of her fourth floor room late Saturday afternoon, according to Fox News. Paramedics were unable to revive Houston and she was pronounced dead. Her daughter Bobbi Kristina, 19, and mother Cissy were notified of her death.
Prescription pill bottles were found in the room, though there were no signs Houston had been drinking alcohol in the room, TMZ reported.
