Well, tonight, we wait no longer. 9pm eastern marks the return of a series that has more potential than most other television shows combined. What lies in store for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and crew? It seems like the creators are finally going to get their act together and up the suspense significantly. The first half of the season was just passable - not great - with the exception of the outstanding premiere and midseason finale. As I continue to blog about the show, I'll be looking for each episode to deliver on a higher level both emotionally and as a horror show. For the second half of the season, the writers should no longer be biding time, pushing out filler episode after filler episode. Instead, each episode should have a purpose within the greater story they are trying to tell. The first step? Get off the farm. We are ready for another setting.
