Whitney Houston's funeral service was held at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J. this afternoon, the same church Houston learned to sing at as a girl. The nearly four hour long televised service was attended by family, friends and celebrities.

Colleagues and friends praised Houston including her costar in 'The Bodyguard,' Kevin Costner, her cousin Dionne Warwick, and producer Clive Davis. Some of the celebrity attendees performed in Houston's honor, notably Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and R. Kelly.
