Oscar hopefuls await 2012 Academy Awards

The awards show gets underway at 8:30 p.m. on ABC

The 84th Annual Academy Awards will be bestowed tonight on ABC beginning at 8:30 p.m.


Martin Scorsese's Paris adventure "Hugo" leads the Academy Awards with 11 nominations.


"The Artist" is second with a total of 10 nominations.


Billy Crystal returns as host of the proceedings.
