It's official: Snooki's pregnant, engaged to Jionni LaValle

Jersey Shore's Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi made it official in Us Weekly, confirming Internet chatter that, yes, she is 15-weeks pregnant and engaged.

Jersey Shore's Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi made it official in Us Weekly, confirming Internet chatter that, yes, she is 15-weeks pregnant and engaged.

Polizzi, a self-proclaimed guidette who earned a reputation on MTV's Jersey Shore for drinking and partying in New Jersey, Miami and Italy, told the tabloid she "has different priorities now" and she's set tackle motherhood:

"I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready[," Polizzi said.]

Adds [fiance and father-to-be Jionni] LaValle: "We are not going to screw this up."

The story on Us Weekly's website, which includes a cover photo of Polizzi holding her baby bump, is just a preview since the tabloid won't hit the stands until Friday.

Early last month the reality star denied to ABC that she was pregnant, but a New York Post story from last week wrote that she lied and had "brokered a deal to announce the news on the cover of Us Weekly after she shopped the story to several celebrity magazines."

Fellow Jersey Shore cast member Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio told MTV News he's excited for Polizzi and even said he wants to be with her in the delivery room.

"I'm real excited. You want to know why? Because I love babies. I love everything about them when they're not yours," DelVecchio said in an MTV News video. "So I'll take care of it, spoil it and then when it's crying, give it back to Snooki."
