By a split vote, judges bid good night to the Motown singer and ended her quest for the mirror ball trophy.

The Motown singer was eliminated Tuesday night from season 14 of the popular dance competition series.
The elimination was based on a combination of judges' scores on Monday and viewer votes. Knight and Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan finished on the bottom. After a "dance duel" between the two, judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli voted over Carrie Ann Inaba to bid good night to Knight.
Knight thanked the show's producers and cast for an amazing experience. "'Dancing With the Stars' gives you another look at life. It's the fountain of youth," Knight said.
Knight joins previously eliminated contestants tennis great Martina Navratilova, "Melrose Place" actor Jack Wagner, "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd and singer Gavin DeGraw.
Returning to compete next week will be Fegan, "Family Matters" star Jaleel White, Telenova actor William Levy, "Little House on the Prarie" star Melissa Gilbert; mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins; TV personality Maria Menounos; and football star Donald Driver.
