Six celebrity contestants remain after seven weeks of ballroom competition.
Jaleel White became the sixth celebrity contestant to be eliminated from season 14 of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
Melissa Gilbert, who had scored the lowest with judges on Monday night's live broadcast – a 47 out of a possible 60 – was saved by viewer votes. (Elimination is based on a combination of judges scores and viewer votes, which force two contestants into a "dance duel").
A gracious White told "DWTS" host Tom Bergeron, he had not expected to make it to week 7. He said he had promised his mother he would not be the first of the 12 contestants to be sent home.
White had not impressed judges on Monday night's broadcast, receiving just 51 points. Those scores and viewer votes forced the former "Family Matters" co-star into a rumba "dance duel" with Disney Channel actor Roshon Fegan, who received a 52 from judges on Monday. In the end, the judges decided to unanimously end White's quest for the mirror ball trophy.
White joins five previously eliminated contestants – singer Gladys Knight, tennis great Martina Navratilova, "Melrose Place" actor Jack Wagner, "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd and singer Gavin DeGraw.
Still in the running are Fegan, Gilbert, Welsh mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins, Extra reporter Maria Menounos, Green Bay Packer's wide receiver Donald Driver, and Telenova actor William Levy.
