Wednesday night's concert will be televised to 2 billion people worldwide.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will kick off Wednesday night's 12-12-12 Concert benefit for Hurricane Sandy victims.
Other performers include: Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney.
Proceeds will be distributed to storm victims in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut through the Robin Hood Foundation. Organizers have already raised $30 million.
The sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden will be televised to 2 billion people worldwide in North and South America, Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia. It will be shown on 34 television networks in the United States.
