Last year’s Grammy Awards was the coronation of Adele’s near perfect year with her album "21." This year’s awards however were slightly more unpredictable with a mix of artists taking home the night’s top awards. The 55th annual Grammys also produced memorable performances and ones that people will try to forget quickly. Here is a look at the top seven must-see moments, good and bad, from Sunday night’s show:

No. 1: Elton John leads tribute to Levon Helm

By far my favorite musical performance of the night was the group performance of ‘The Weight” in honor of the late Levon Helm. The performance brought together an unlikely group of performers, and it worked with flying colors. The tribute was led by Sir Elton John along with Mavis Staples, Zac Brown, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes and Mumford & Sons.

No. 2: Mumford & Sons win album of the year

Speaking of Mumford & Sons, the group won, to the surprise of many in the music industry including themselves, best album for “Babel.” The group was especially surprised when they got on stage, they said, because of the amount of awards The Black Keyes had already won in the rock category including best rock album for “El Camino.” Mumford & Sons also rocked the stage earlier in the show with their performance of their hit song “I Will Wait.”

No. 3: Fun. has fun at Grammys

Fun is always a big winner at awards shows, but Sunday night it was the group Fun. that had a big night. The group won the award for best new artist and also took home the Grammy for song of the year. The group also performed their new single “Carry On.”

No. 4: Carrie Underwood and country music have a big night

I might be one of only a handful to believe this, but I thought country music had a big night on Sunday. Country’s big night started before the award show when Little Big Town won best country duo/group performance for their No. 1 hit “Pontoon.” Then Carrie Underwood won a pair of Grammys for her song “Blown Away” including best country solo performance and best country song. Zac Brown Band took home country’s top award of the night for their album “Uncaged.” During the show Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley, who are currently touring together, helped each other sing Lambert’s “Over You” and Bentley’s “Home.” Later on in the show Carrie Underwood performed a stirring and beautiful rendition of her songs “Blown Away” and “Two Black Cadillacs.” During her performance her dress was used as a backdrop for stunning futuristic imagery.

No. 5: Kelly Clarkson's hilarious speech

One of the funniest moments of the night happened when Kelly Clarkson won the award for best pop album. She went straight to Lambert to hug her after the announcement and when she did, their dressed stuck together, causing a humorous moment. Then she ran on stage and gave the most exuberant speech of the night.

No. 6: Frank Ocean misses the boat with his performance

Now onto what I believe to be the worst moment of the show, Frank Ocean’s performance of “Forrest Gump.” Just that title alone should give away what the performance was like, not very good. His performance started with a man running on a big screen and gradually Ocean began to appear. The top-half of his body was visible while his bottom-half was hidden by a screen that showed the legs of someone running. The stage craft wasn’t the only bad part however. His vocals also were off key, not to mention the lyrics.

No. 7: Taylor Swift and Bob Marley tribute leave something to be desired

There were two other performances that really bugged me. The first was Taylor Swift’s performance of her song “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” She opened the show with this song and her staging was a weird ode to Alice and Wonderland. The other performance that was out of place to me was the tribute to Bob Marley. Now it might just be me, but usually when I think of tributes I think of people singing the songs of the person they are giving the tribute to. That was not the case for Bruno Mars or Sting. Mars sang his song “Locked Out of Heaven” while Sting performed the Police’s “Walking on the Moon.” The performances weren’t horrible, but they weren’t worthy of a tribute. The performance transformed into more of a tribute when Damien and Ziggy Marley came out to honor their father. Then they were joined on stage by Rihanna, to sing Marley’s “Could You Be Loved” to close out the tribute.

P.S. Some of you might be wondering why Justin Timberlake’s performance isn’t on here. Well I must admit that I didn’t see it because it was during “The Walking Dead.” So anything that happened during the 9-10 p.m. hour was a no-go for me and millions of Americans. Who planned that?
