LUDLOW – The Exit 7 Players, as part of VDay Ludlow, is presenting Eve Ensler’s “The Vagina Monologues” on March 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. and March 10 at 2 p.m. at the theater located at 37 Chestnut St.
Profits from this fund-raiser will benefit Womanshelter-Compañeras, an organization dedicated to assisting, supporting, and empowering those whose lives are affected by battering and abuse.
MIX 93.1 morning radio host Karen Boyd will be a guest cast member on Friday evenings show.
This award-winning play is based on V-Day founder and playwright Eve Ensler’s interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace the piece celebrates women’s sexuality and strength.
Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives. For more than 12 years, “The Vagina Monologues” has given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public. Intermission will feature an artist’s showcase where several local women will be displaying their artwork.
