The "DWTS" will take place in two weeks.
Lucky in love – but not on the dance floor.
"The Bachelor" star Sean Lowe was eliminated on week 8 of
season 16 of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
Viewer votes were not enough to save Lowe, who had received a 42 out of a possible 60 from judges on Monday night for two routines. It was the lowest combined score of the night.
Lowe called his time on the show a "great opportunity."
Last week, comic Andy Dick was eliminated from the competition. He joined boxer Victor Ortiz, who was dropped from the competition on week 6. D.L. Hughley was eliminated on week 5. His departure followed the dismissal the prior week of Lisa Vanderpump of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Wynonna Judd was cut on week 3. Olympic skater Dorothy Hamill dropped out of "DWTS" on March 26, citing health concerns
The five remaining "DWTS" contestants are: Disney channel star Zendaya, country singer Kellie Pickler, Olympic gymnast Alexandra Raisman, "General Hospital" actor Ingo Rademacher, and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones.
