A surprising number of celebrities have written children's stories in these past years.
Stephen Colbert is going to release a children’s book called ‘I Am a Pole (And So Can You!)’ Saying he wanted to "cash-in" on celebrity children's books, Colbert penned an illustrated story about a flag pole's quest for identity.
If you didn’t know about these “celebrity children’s books” you are missing out. It seems that many celebrities of late have picked up a pen and written children's books. Everyone from comedian Ricky Gervais, actor John Travolta, musician Bob Dylan, to the President and more have taken their shot at a children’s book.
In a tweet on why he wrote his children's books Henry Winkler said, "A man named Alan suggested I write about my experience[growing up]... he introduced me to Lin [Oliver], my partner, and now there are 17 Hank [Zipzer books]."
