The debut episode of “40 In The Morning With Dan & Kim” drew more jeers than cheers. The format of WGGB-TV, abc40's new morning show with Dan Williams and Kim Zachary failed to win over many readers.

"It was terrible. The set is terrible those big mics in the way and it feels cold. They have this space between them. Its like they are still in a radio booth. Who wants to see that.. They need to interact more and with those mics in the way they can't."

This was one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. I could only watch it for less than 5 minutes. I liked the news team that they had...oh well guess back to the newsreaders at WWLP 22. It's interesting that all of the posts on the ABC 40 site were removed.

In a word, AWFUL! I was amazed that some people actually made it a whole 5 minutes. As much as I dislike Ch 22, in 2 minutes I was there!

I'm willing to give them a chance. Morning news tends to be the same thing over and over, so I appreciate the attempt to give the show some life and levity. And from what I saw, Julia had as much news as they always have, and I think even more weather. Whether you love Dan and Kim or not, at least channel 40 is trying out people who have ties to the community and won't be here and gone before we even know them.
